Let me introduce myself.

I'll try not to keep you too long.
My name is Leslee LaBar.

I am a 36 yr old Autistic adult based in Vermilion, Ohio photographing weddings and events centered on love, family and small details. As an Autistic adult I have a sharp eye for detail and an interest in capturing your special moments from a unique perspective.

I think its the little things that make up the big picture. I consider myself an emotional storyteller, and I try to capture the magic of every story in the photos I take.

I am the creative director and lead photographer at Lovely Lenscraft Photography. In this brief résumé, I will boast about establishing a distinguished career while doing something I genuinely love, documenting people’s most beautiful moments.

My love for photography started when I was a kid and my mom would buy me disposable cameras. I went through so much film attempting to photograph every detail of my world. I grew up not knowing I was Autistic which created many struggles and difficulties in my life. Being Autistic isn't all bad. There are also many hidden benefits. Like having a creative eye ready to capture all the wonder of the world. Which as it turns out is an invaluable asset to have as photographer.

After attending Pinellas Technical College in my home town, Saint Petersburg Florida, and many years of practice I have been able to sharpen my skills and build my small business.

Over the past 25 years, I have enjoyed documenting hundreds of weddings, portraits, plants, wildlife, pets, families and landscapes.

I enjoy getting dressed up and feeling my best. Personal style is a large part of my self expression. When I'm not editing you will find me outside in the garden tending the tomatoes, making dinner, going for a walk with my dog Roxxi and boyfriend Keith, or catching up on the latest Dr. Who. I find myself continually chasing and living my dream, to satisfy my need to keep creating and growing as a professional creative, portrait, and wedding photographer. I’m incredibly thankful to be able to call my work my passion.

You won’t have to wait months or years to see your wedding, portrait or event photographs. We deliver online proofing and slideshows not long after your session. Clients can schedule consultations as soon as the following day! You’re excited about your photographs, and so are we.
